Bridgeworks™ Runtime Engine Uninstallation Instructions


If you installed Bridgeworks™ RTE via the automatic installation method follow the steps outlined in the Automatic Install section:

Automatic Install

  • Launch an Internet Explorer browser window
  • Tools > Internet Options
  • Under the General tab, click the Settings button
  • In the Settings panel, click the View Objects button
  • Right click on the Bridgeworks Control and choose Remove
  • Launch Windows Explorer and navigate to C:\WINNT\system32\ (or C:\Windows\system32\ depending on your system)
  • Remove the following files from your system32 folder:


    • BBBitmap.dll
    BBBridgeworks.dll
    BBD3D8Engine.dll
    BBDCS.dll
    BBExpat.dll
    BBJpeg.dll
    BBOGL11Engine.dll
    BBSceneGraph.dll
    BBSGCore.dll
    BBSGXModel.dll
    BBUtil.dll
    BBwCore2.dll


If you installed Bridgeworks™ RTE via the executable installation method follow the steps outlined in the Executable Install section:

Executable Install

  • Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs
  • Select the Bridgeworks Runtime Engine
  • Click Change / Remove
